Updates to the website EuroBirdNet-Sweden;
http://www.pheromone.ekol.lu.se/Eurobirdnet.html

Erased the direct e-mail address to EBN and Fugle-nett to make it harder for spammers to get access to our lists.

Steinar Eliassen, the Fugle-nett list-owner has also installed filter against spamming, large pictures, sounds and annoying subscribe/unsubscribe messages. It is also upgraded to a Listserv-maintained list now, see instructions on the web-page.

The Holarctic List is updated with newly accepted Swedish records of rare birds from 1996. The number of accepted records in Sweden is now 456. 2 new species in 1996; Eurasian Crag Martin, Ptyonoprogne (or Hirundo) rupestris and Dusky Thrush, Turdus eunomus naumanni. 3 records of Lesser Sand Plover, Charadrius mongolus, a total of 5 in Sweden, is highest in Europe.
Other highlights were Azure Tit, Parus cyanus, Bimaculated Lark, Melanocorypha bimaculata, 7 Red-flanked Bluetail, Tarsiger cyanurus and around 280 Pallas s Leaf Warbler, Phylloscopus proregulus.

PS.
