Rare birds in Sweden June - July 2004

Here is the compilation of rarities recorded in Sweden 1 June - 31 July.

It has been a terrible, terrible summer in Sweden in June and July.
Only the last week in July it improved and got warm and sunny. And beginning of August is +27 and blue sky.
But most of the time in June and July it has been either cold, windy and extremely rainy, most of the time all of this on the same time. I can't remember a worse summer, and I am 48. And in Lund in southernmost Sweden we had the lowest number of hours with sunshine in all Sweden, 50 or so in 2 months ! It has been a bit better in north Sweden, on the Baltic islands and in Bohuslän

It has been few rarities, not at all the same amount of rare waders like last summer on Öland for example.
