EuroBirdNet (EBN) - up and running since 1990.
Rare birds in Sweden October 20 - November 3, 2003
Last weeks we have had an "influx" of eastern Wheatears; 3-4 Pied Wheatears, Oenanthe
pleschanka and 3 Isabelline, O. isabellina.
Otherwise few "invasion" species like owls and crossbills. Tits are still migrating,
but in much lower numbers than the massive migration in mid-October.

The English / scientific / Swedish bird names in the reports follows the Swedish Holarctic

For the whole list incl. explanations, start at; http://www.pheromone.ekol.lu.se/hollisteng.html
NOTE: In December 2003 the Swedish Taxonomic Committee will announce some changes
in the Swedish List. Probably about 10 new splits will be made.
When this is official I will update the Holarctic List, then it will no more follow
the printed version from 1995.
