The last long weekend was extraordinary good regarding rarities. And bad weather 13-14 May made a major "fallout" of resting birds along the coasts, with very high numbers of flycatchers, warblers etc

White Stork, Ciconia ciconia (vit stork): 3 (outside Scania).

Black Stork, Ciconia nigra (svart stork) : 1-2 on oeland since April.

1 f Lake Hornborgsjoen (Vaestergoetland) since 8.5. Still there.

Pallid Harrier, Cicus macrourus (staepphoek)
1 f Ottenby (oeland) 16.5, 1 2y Smygehamn (Scania) 16.5.

Red-footed Falcon, Falco vespetinus (aftonfalk)
6 adult males (only males!); Katrineholm (Soedermanland), Vallby (Halland), Karpalund (Scania), Hasslarp (Scania), Lake Hornborgasjoen (Vaestergoetland) and Vaestergaarde (Gotland).

Little Crake, Porzana parva (mindre sumphoena)
1 Barvalappen, E. Eskilstuna (Soedermanland) 16.5.

LITTLE BUSTARD, Tetrax tetrax (smaatrapp)
1 Lake Norra Hyn, W. Forshaga (Vaermland) 14-15.5.
24 records in total in Sweden, but only 6 records after 1934. Since the bird was seen making air jumps and the lower neck was slightly thick (otherwise female plumage), it should be a young male.
