The last long weekend was extraordinary good regarding rarities. And bad weather 13-14
May made a major "fallout" of resting birds along the coasts, with very high numbers
of flycatchers, warblers etc

Pallid Harrier, Cicus macrourus (staepphoek)

Red-footed Falcon, Falco vespetinus (aftonfalk)
6 adult males (only males!); Katrineholm (Soedermanland), Vallby (Halland), Karpalund
(Scania), Hasslarp (Scania), Lake Hornborgasjoen (Vaestergoetland) and Vaestergaarde
(Gotland).
Little Crake, Porzana parva (mindre sumphoena)

1 Lake Norra Hyn, W. Forshaga (Vaermland) 14-15.5.
24 records in total in Sweden, but only 6 records after 1934. Since the bird was seen
making air jumps and the lower neck was slightly thick (otherwise female plumage),
it should be a young male.
